Our school is a government-subsidized secondary school operated by Sik Sik Yuen. Adhering to Sik Sik Yuen’s educational philosophy, we provide secondary education services for Hong Kong youth and cultivate talents for society.
Established in 1921, Sik Sik Yuen is a religious and charitable organization founded on the teachings of the Great Immortal Wong, with the mission of “universal benevolence and promoting goodness.” It promotes the teachings of Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism and carries out various religious activities. Its charitable endeavors include establishing schools to nurture talents, providing free medical services and medicine, supporting the elderly and children, and offering disaster relief and assistance to those in need.
In 1969, Ho Lap College was established, marking the beginning of Sik Sik Yuen’s efforts in education. Over the past two decades, Sik Sik Yuen has founded five subsidized secondary schools, four subsidized primary schools, six non-profit kindergartens, and one nature education center and observatory—the Ho Koon Nature Education Centre & Astronomical Observatory.
